Happy Mommy's Day, Mommy! Love, Turner

What a wonderful day! Addison gave me the best gift...sleep :). I am married to the most wonderful person. He truly has the biggest heart and has his heart wrapped around one little guy in particular..

After I awoke Addison made me french toast with strawberries and an iced coffee. I then got a card from all my favorite people--Turner, Addison, and of course popo and quicken! Addison then handed me my wedding band. He had Turner's birthdate engraved on the inside. It was perfect! I also got a massage and facial from glo!! I want it right now :) I then called my momma!! She visited her mom in Kansas City this weekend, so we celebrated on Thursday instead. She said she got Turner lots of surprises! I know he can't wait to see them-and her! Moppy and Poppy came to visit Turner. They hung out with him while I picked up the house (ya know, motherly things :) and Addison took care of the yard. Later Shugie, Uncle Aaron and Dannis, Aunt Nat and West came over here for dinner and helped give Turner a bath! Shugie was wonderful and even bounced on the ball to get Turner to stop crying! He loved it.

It was such a great day and I truly was changed the day Turner was born. I am looking forward to every day with him.

Happy Mommy's Day -love Turner!

He's giving me the crazy eye :)
Addison traced Turner's hand..the cutest thing ever!!
Aunt Natalie getting Turner to calm down.

Uncle Aaron and Shugie. Turner looks constipated :)

Lookin' at his Shugie

Gazing through the window wrapped in Moppy's arms.

Big eyes! ...all day...he loves to fight sleep during the day. He is afraid he is missing something. Yeah!

Shugie doing anything for the little guy!

Well..another proud mother moment... Thought his legs were suppose to go through the arm part..he was stuck. It took both me and my mom to get him out.. Sleep deprivation at its best.

Hanging with Grandmama on our Mother's Day together!

Wearing his new hat.

My mom is persisting on him playing the organ she has had since we were kids. I thought this was perfect of him practicing to play it!

Another great week in the life of Mr. T!

Meeting Campbell Kate!

She has arrived! It was so great to meet Campbell. I joke about how Turner and Campbell will get married. I do know they will be best friends since Marcy and I get together on a regular basis! Campbell can help Turner dress himself and do cute art projects for his mommy! :) It was so fun to see Marcy, CAmeron, and Jackson meet the new addition to their family. She was the best dressed in the hospital!

Opening her eyes!

This was Cameron's doing. Elmo was for Jackson and Cameron thought he needed to be swaddled. :)

Looks just like Jackson just darker hair!

Cutest bows!!

Can't wait for all the memories to begin. I told MArcy we will have to have late night feeding texting!

One of many typical moments

Well...started this new blog yesterday and had to go away from it to hang out with my little guy and just now am getting back to the blog...finished my new post...and it didn't post...deep breath and I'll try again. Does the computer not understand how precious every minute is??!!?

So, back to my typical moment. Mother of the year here! We celebrated Turner's one month birthday a wee bit early because in 'my world' four weeks from him being born was his one month..I started the day with a one month video, posting to Facebook, singing happy birthday (Happy Birthday story to come) and taking pictures when come to find out his actual one month was the Friday, 30th.... Turner's really going to keep me in check or I'll never get anything right. Oh well! Good thing we have 11 more months to go :). The birthday song was classic because of my sleep deprivation I got the tune mixed up with London Bridge is Falling Down and could not get it right for the life of me! Maybe I'll start a new trend.

We have successfully gotten him to sleep in his bouncy during the day. That makes for some free moments for me more often. He is such a happy baby! only fussy during his fussy evening hours, but now since I REALLY watch what I eat, he's not crying as much. Yeah! Also a yeah! because it's a great diet for me!

We are going to take him out into the real world soon to see his world! I get him out here and there, but mainly hanging out at the casa. It's so much easier when feeding...I would rather just stay home :) but that is starting to get old especially with these pretty days...

Taking a portrait by the one flower I have not killed. So pretty!

I'm obsessed with his feet!

Great foot shot!

Mastering the bouncy during the day!

Jeff sent this to me and Kaitlyn said she was practicing for when she got to hold Turner. So cute!

Doing his belly dance!

PoPo likes to squeeze in for the cuddle time from time to time..so pathetic..

Week in review!

What a great week! Turner had more visitors to see him. Alicia, Blake and Scott were in from Colorado to see Mr. T. We celebrated Shugie's birthday on Monday. We had to bolt home because mommy forgot a very important element to feed Turner! He went to the Dr and had a great check up. He is in the 70% for his height and 20% for his weight. He is tall and skinny right now! :) Nothing like his momma and daddy! We had some wonderful visitors from Whitney who made him the cutest frame! Cedar and Hilary stopped by! It was great seeing Cedar; he's growing so fast! We went to Grandmama's on Sunday for an outing. His umbilical cord came off this week!! It was exciting. He met his great grandparents from Kansas City this week!  I was able to go to the NWA boutique show for a bit with my mom. Addison and Turner sat in the car 'just in case' it was time for feeding. It's so funny at 2:30 am everything seems to be out of arms reach. I need my water, pillow, or phone and it is just a few inches from me being able to grab it while feeding. I am going to try and get him on a schedule after this week. He had one really bad night of an upset stomach, but other than that, he is just up when he needs to eat. I will say he still doesn't love to sleep by himself....we will be working on that this week.

Turner had yet another great week!
Turner loves Grandmama!
He loves his dog shirts! He is still so tiny he is still wearing his newborn onesies.  He looks like he is about to punch someone or me for taking pictures all the time :)

The popular spring picture my mom loves to take of the kids. He was fussy
